The U.S. presently gives $1 Billion in financial aid and $1.3 Billion in military aid to Egypt. This aid should be directly linked to the Egyptian government's cooperation in securing US diplomatic facilities and personnel and support of US policies in the Middle East and around the world. Given the current failure of the Egyptian government to denounce the violence against the US embassy in Cairo all aid should be suspended.
