The United States should end all foreign aid to Uganda for as long as it has legislation on the books to imprison people for life for their sexual orientation. It is unconscionable that one cent of American money be used to support a legal system that carries out such an injustice. Even the humanitarian aid indirectly supports the government that mandates this atrocity and the bigots who voted them into office by allowing them to divert their own revenue from social programs into legislative and policing funds.
