STOP POLICING THE WORLD!
On February 28th, Secretary of State John Kerry announced that the United States would be providing the Syrian rebels with $60 million dollars in "non-lethal aid".
On March 3rd, Secretary Kerry announced that the United States would be providing Egypt with $250 million dollars in aid.
This is unacceptable. Now, I may not have a complete grasp on the complex political machinations involved, but I do have a grasp on one simple idea: WE SHOULD NOT BE GIVING AWAY OUR MONEY WHEN IT IS NEEDED HERE IN THE UNITED STATES.
In light of the budget crisis, sequestration, the national deficit that is skyrocketing, millions of people without a job/living in poverty, etc., etc., how can we justify giving our money to those who misuse it? Please use taxpayer dollars properly.
