suspend the freeze on Job Corps enrollment which is denying thousands of youth an opportunity to train for employability

Despite bipartisan requests from Congress to suspend the current enrollment freeze, DOL continues down a path to destroy Job Corps, the nation's oldest and most successful job training program. DOL has also refused to respond to Congressional inquiries into the causes of Job Corps' budgetary shortfall. DOL has refused to pay heed to contractors' suggestions and has mismanaged Job Corps' funding. As they continue to stonewall Congress, it's up to you, President Obama, to stand up for the thousands of needy and deserving young adults who are eager to become employable taxpayers of the future by enrolling in Job Corps or continuing into advanced Job Corps training.
