The time has come for We The People to punish the government that has failed us.
Some of us rely on our tax returns in January to pay urgent bills. Others are stuck relying on Unemployment, which ends for many of us... leaving us without income at all.
The Government is asking us lower middle class folks to sacrifice an additional $50 a month, while the folks who can afford higher takes get more breaks.
It is time to suspend the pay of Congress until they realize the We The People are not an inexhaustible source of revenue for harvesting at will.
My proposal: Suspend the salary of all sitting Reps and Senators regardless of rank or seniority for a period of 3 months, with further 90 day extensions added for every day
the fiscal cliff is in action.
