In one vote, The United Nations Educational, Scientific, and Cultural Organization - UNESCO - managed to erase 3,500 years of Jewish history in the Holy Land by Identifying the holiest sites in Jerusalem to Jews by its Islamic name only. There has been a continuous connection between the Jewish people and the Temple Mount complex since the Holy Temple's destruction in 135 AD. Jews throughout history have visited the retaining wall of the Temple Mount - the Western Wall - to connect with G-d. UNESCO has decided to strip the wall of it's Jewish heritage.
This is an issue important not only to millions of Jewish Americans, but to Jews the world over. As a world leader, please take a strong stand and withdraw from UNESCO until they rescind this anti-Semitic resolution.
