Suspend the Transportation Security Administration's Unethical Behavioral Detection Program

Created by J.M. on December 21, 2015

The Transportation Security Admistration's Screening Passengers by Observation Techniques (SPOT) program is scientifically baseless and judges passengers on typical behaviors.

As stated by The Intercept, "The SPOT sheet was designed in such a way that virtually every passenger will exhibit multiple ‘behaviors’ that can be assigned a SPOT sheet value".

This invasive program places each and every passenger with at least one or two points, once a passenger reaches 4 points (like being confused), the passenger is subject to "random screening".

We call upon the Obama Admistration to suspend the Transportation Security Admistration's controversial and invasive screening program until the program can be fully vetted by the U.S. House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform.
