Suspend the voting rights of any individual who chooses to accept government financial aid not designed to be paid back. Veterans and farmers are exempt from this statute.
When people who do not pay taxes vote to increase taxes, it creates a moral hazard. Voters in the United States must have a financial stake in our nation's direction.
This provision is also meant to serve as an incentive to refuse Social Security payments; anyone on Social Security would not be allowed to vote.
