Suspension of Congressional and Senatorial pay

Due to the lack of guidance, responsibility, and the inability of the United States Congress to protect the people under its jurisdiction, We the People request that Congressional and Senatorial pay and benefits be suspended until such time that the issues of our nation’s fiscal responsibilities have been resolved and not postponed until a later date. We the People feel that Congressional inability to fulfill the responsibilities given to them by the people, should receive no less attention brought to it than that of one making far less per year would give attention to the lack of a paycheck and would strive to maintain their way of life.
