Sustained Water Purification for Agricultural and Urban Communities

Created by R.L. on April 01, 2014

Implement the desalinization of seawater on a massive scale to supplement existing water supplies on the West coast.
In order to minimize negative environmental effects on marine life, the resulting brine should be processed into road salt for weather stricken areas during winter months.

Our nation faces an eventual crisis from droughts which will cause food prices to skyrocket as well as starvation for those who will not be able to afford the bare necessities.

2 unnecessary wars in the Middle East cost more than 4,000 desalination plants that would be capable of producing 50 million gallons of fresh water daily, each.
Incorporate massive solar-cell farms to offset energy costs over time.

We owe it to our grandchildren to make fresh water plentiful and readily available.
