Swift notification and increased fraud protections for Federal workers impacted by the OPM cyber-hacking

Created by K.F. on June 13, 2015

The recent OPM data breach is the result of outrageous negligence and highlights both a lack of attention to cyber-security, and reflects a true breach of the trust Federal workers give their employer. Join me to request that this administration require that the Federal government clearly and accurately account for all individual records compromised by the recent OPM security breach. Require that OPM or their designee notify by June 30, 2015 all individuals impacted by the OPM cyber-attack. Require that fraud protections and credit monitoring services provided to all impacted individuals be expanded from 18 months to 5 years; and that the Federal government provide insurance to each impacted individual to fully cover all monetary losses that may occur from this identity theft.
