Switch the USA to use the Metric System. As our economy becomes increasingly global, we are one of only three countries in the world not using the metric system.
Thousands and thousands of jobs would be created to make the switch, from changing road signs, to educating the public. Once the conversion is done, we'd be in line with the rest of the civilized world, and better able to communicate with a standard system of measures.
