Tackle the monopolies by the telecom companies providing broadband internet.

We as Americans are being overcharged for pathetic internet speeds. All over the world there are countries that have internet for all their citizens and at twice the speed or faster at half the cost. The world is increasingly moving toward a more digital connection from job applications to online college. We are falling behind due to monopolies and outdated or corrupt policies. The revolving door between telecom companies and the fcc has led to no competition, kickbacks for politicians and gouging the wallets of citizens to increase profits. We deserve better and I demand that the FCC update and mandate internet policies as well as tackle corruption and monopolies so we can catch up to the rest of the world.
