It's time to get justice for victims and family members who are effected by rape. There is a backlog of about 400,000 rape kits than languish untested, rapist go free and innocent people get convicted. Let's ask President Obama to demand $1 Billion to be taken from military spending to get these kits tested right. Rape is a crime that never should go unpunished. I also think we should push to have rape become a federal offense as some states/ counties make no effort to pursue or convict.
