The President, Vice President, Cabinet, and Senior Political advisors should take a 20% pay cut for a minimum of 11 weeks as a sign of solidarity with the thousands of federal employees who are being furloughed. Currently, political appointees and senior leaders are exempt from the furloughs that are placing heavy financial burdens on federal employees who have dedicated their careers to service of our nation.
