The Federal Reserve is going to spend 40 billion a month on mortgage back securities for the forceable future in an effort to stimulate the economy and lower the unemployment rate. If you take the same 40 billion and divide it among every american that would be roughly 125 dollars per person per month. Thats every man, woman, and child that is an american citizen every month until the economy is stimulated and the unemployment rate is lowered. It seems wiser to put that money in the pockets of the americans that are in trouble rather than investing in a banks fund in hopes they will loan out the money and put americans further in debt.
What could you do with an extra 125 a month?
