BP has had 2 oil spills in the last 4 years with the most recent one in Lake Michigan. Part of the worlds single largest source of fresh water.
This petition ask that the EPA and Obama apply hard Fees to BP for their lack of proper maintenance that could have prevented these environmental disaster.
This would require BP to pay a hefty fee for damages to the waters and shores, but also require BP to have inspections on all of their equipments and shut down any that requires any repairs and not be permitted to operate the rigs again till the repairs have been completed.
