Take action against Martin Shkreli.

Created by L.F. on September 21, 2015

Martin Shkreli, a former Hedge Fund manager and current CEO of Turing Pharmaceuticals, which has recently bought the rights to Daraprim (which treats Taxoplasmosis, a severe parasitic infection that targets any one with a compromised immune system, such as those with Aids or Cancer.) and raised the price from $13.50 a pill to $750 a pill. This restricts who can get the life-saving medicine to those who can afford it. This medicine needs to be available to more people. Shkreli has raised prices for medicine in the past, in order to gain fund to pay back investors, not putting the money into the medicine. Action should be taken against Shkreli. He is restricting access to life saving medicine for personal gain.
