We the People feel that unless something is changed that the people we trust will turn on us and leave us powerless to do anything about it.
There seems to be a surge in police violence. But we feel that if the situation remains unchecked more officers will believe it is okay for them to break the law. Too many people are killed wrongly by police, too often have officers gotten away with their crimes, from their 'protect their own' policies. Too often do we have to worry whether or not the officers will decide to harm, or kill us next.It is time to change the situation before things escalate past the point of no return.
We ask for reform, make officers have to serve harsher sentences for braking laws, enforce better training procedures, and a stricter mental evaluation. ensure our peace.
