take action against Rwanda and Uganda for violating the UN embargo by providing weapons and military assistance to M23.

Created by C.V. on October 20, 2012

For the last 16 years, Rwanda and Uganda have invaded the Democratic Republic of Congo and have created and supported several rebel groups notably RCD, UPC, CNDP, and M23. These wars have caused the deaths of over 6 million people, the displacement of over 2 million people, the rapes of thousands of women and children, and the systematic looting of Congo natural resources, and the destruction of the Congo ecosystem. If the United States, champion of human rights, has supported actions taken against President Charles Taylor of Liberia and President Saddam Hussein of Iraq for similar offenses, why is it not acting against President Paul Kagame of Rwanda and President Yoweri Muveveni of Uganda for causing the biggest holocaust of modern history in eastern Congo?
