Despite extant laws against telemarketers, and a "donotcall.gov" website, it is obvious such efforts and laws are not a sufficient deterrent. Telemarketing calls continue to incessantly intrude into our citizens' personal or business life. Many telemarketers are raptatorial, offering "products" that are scams, which are particularly abusive of the elderly and financially vulnerable.
We demand the government find and prosecute these illegal telemarketers, and said effort be given a weight and importance never before seen. We want these intrusive "oppressors" who steal our free time, intrude at family moments, and hector and badger our most vulnerable, to face true and unceasing prosecution, with punishment that is substantial enough to actually deter, or truly punish, and mete out justice.
