Take action for Dolphins in Taiji, Japan

Created by I.M. on January 29, 2014

Taiji, Japan slaughters dolphins in their annual drive September through April. They adore their families and play with each other and love to talk and be together. Dolphins have enlarged limbic systems. It is believed with their bigger limbic systems, they are more emotional then that of humans. Dolphins spend time mourning. They also are very intelligent with a brain ratio size second to that of humans. Screams, flailing and shouting can be heard from the Taiji Cove, and mothers try to shield their calves from the hunters spears. The hunting methods are inhumane, and the practice is only 50 years old, contrasting to what the japanese said; "a traditional activity" Take the time to sign this petition. Families are stressed, trying to protect children in the cove, wanting to be free
