Take action with legislation to strengthen the federal cyber bullying and stalking laws.

Created by C.P. on December 25, 2012

The cyber bullying laws in this country are essentially non-existent. Many attempts to report and prevent bullying on social networking sites such as Facebook fall on deaf ears. So-called "trolls" find ways to harass people even after they are deceased, hiding behind what they believe are First Amendment rights. However, the Constitution is lined in such a way to prevent the rights of one citizen from impeding on the rights of another. We need the Obama Administration to step up and work with Congress to find a solution to this problem. Slander and libel charges only take the victims of bullying so far before they are attacked again. Something must be done.
