This petition demands that the police officer responsible for shooting Mike Brown, of which he had no probable cause, be held accountable and charged for his violent actions against this young, unarmed, African-American citizen.
In addition, many of the citizens of Ferguson, Missouri organized in peaceful protest, but were met with tear gas from local law enforcement. As a result of the protests taking place in suburban areas, many young children were caught in the crossfire.
Furthermore, what has taken place here is nothing short of people's disregard of civil and human rights simply because of race, so we the people of the United States petition the Obama administration to take action against these atrocities and put an end to the prejudice.
