In a recent Taliban video a scared Belgian Malinois appears on a tight leash surrounded by heavily armed men. They say they took the dog in a firefight between U.S. forces and Taliban fighters in the Alin Nigar district of Afghanistan’s Laghman province in late December.
Military working dogs are used to sniff out explosives and often search compounds that might be rigged with explosives before humans move in.
This dog is an American, and has done nothing but serve our Country alongside our soldiers. Let's encourage our leaders to take action to get him back.
