The people of Puerto Rico took a voting last Tuesday following the recommendations of the Committee appointed by the Whitehouse to make recomendations on PR US relations. We voted against maintaning the present territorial status and in favor of statehood For PR. The new elected governor has said that he will not obey the results of the voting. Mr. Obama, we kindly request that you pay atte. tirón to this situación in favor of the mayority of the PR US citizens. We want to be equal to US citizens living in the US mainland.
