We the people feel it would be wise to turn our collective consciousness to the future of America, the world, and the human species. We can limit our civilization, our species, our genetic heritage to this one tiny frame of reference that we call Earth. Or, we could expand our cloud of probabilty beyond our comfort zone, as our ancestors chose to do. Exploration is our past, it is our present, and it is our future...if we are to have one.
We the people respecfully request that the administration pursue all available avenues leading towards a permanent, adaptable, and expanding human/American presence in the galaxy at large. Increase funding to NASA, the sciences in general, and all peripheral industries. Foster international and private cooperation. There is nowhere to go but up.
