We, the people, are asking that the Obama administration use it's considerable power and treasure to ensure that noted novelist George R. R. Martin is able to complete the last two books in his series, "A Song of Ice and FIre." Mr. Martin, age 65, is noted for great writing, but also for taking an extraordinary long time to complete his works, and, like the armies House Lannister and Mance Rayder, time marches forward and is largely unstopable.
We believe that Mr. Martin is a national literary treasure ashould be sheltered in our most secure government location, (Cheyenne Mountain or one of the many sub-basements of the Pentagon, perhaps,) provided all the food, wine and medication needed, to ensure that he is able to complete the final two books in his series in a timely maner.
