Take another look at Affirmative Action and Race-Based Admission programs at universities and colleges.

The Affirmative Action questions included on the vast majority of college and university applications have the potential to influence an advisor's decision on a given applicant. I would suggest that the answers to the questions be witheld until after a determination has been made or at least be sealed until then.
Several university systems have claimed that prohibiting the questions could harm the diversity among students on the campus (specifically UCLA and UC Berkeley). Yet, why should students with superior qualifications and merit be denied when those with lesser are admitted to "diversify" the campus? I believe that all students deserve an equal chance at admission; even at diversity's detriment.
The hard work of a student is far more important than percentages of colors.
