Handicap parking is always in high demand. With only three or four spots near each grocery store, many people who are truly disabled (i.e loss of limbs, paralyzed, etc.) are forced to park farther away due to perfectly capable obese people using the only available handicap spots.
We see time and time again, in T.V. shows such as The Biggest Loser, that obese people are more than capable of running, jumping and doing exercise, so walking a few extra steps to get to the mall or stores shouldn't be a problem. Save the spaces for those unfortunate people who truly need them!
