take away all special benefits for politicians, and make them depend on social security benefits like everyone else.

politicians don't currently have to depend on social security, therefore they feel they are allowed to borrow money from hard working Americans' retirement in order to help with the massive deficit this country is facing. This petition would require Washington politicians to depend on the same retirement system as every other American citizen. After all, the citizens of this country aren't the reason we are in such financial trouble.
