Take Away Congressional Pensions

Created by M.L. on May 06, 2014

The founding fathers never intended for us to have career politicians. After 5 years of service, A member of congress can receive a pension. Even though our soldiers fight and risk their lives for us, American troops only receive a low pension after 20 years of service! There are multiple benefits that members of congress receive. The average U.S soldier receives thirty to fifty thousand dollars annually. While, the average congressman receives 40,000 dollars in their pension. This means that congressman make the same amount of money in their pension as U.S soldiers do during their service. You must see something wrong with this.
