We, the undersigned ask for an executive order taking away the Government (i.e. employer) provided health insurance from Congress, their staffs and the Supreme Court. By making them seek insurance through the exchanges, they will have a stake in improving the process, and align our interests with theirs.
Congress has obstructed the implementation of the ACA repeatedly. They have not put forth any constructive alternatives, only undermined any attempts to provide health insurance for all. If they have to participate, they will see the challenges facing the rest of us who do not have a "Cadillac" policy provided at employer expense.
There is a good chance this will work. When congress was impacted by budget cuts--that they imposed--on air traffic control, funding was restored promptly.
