Take away the National Football League's tax exempt status.

Created by C.S. on March 18, 2014

The NFL has been enjoying tax exempt status since 1966 because they managed to add "professional football leagues" to the list of exempt organizations in section 501(c)6 of the Internal Revenue Code, through "Public Law 89‑800", which used to read, “business leagues, chambers of commerce, real-estate boards, or boards of trade.”, but now includes "professional football leagues".
