It is time to get the corporate money out of politics. The public should be as represented as business by our government. How? Publically finance all political campaigns. Limit corporate donations in line with current limits on the amount any single individual can donate. This will remove the corrosive and corrupting influence of money in the re-election process and free up our representitives to actually do the peoples business instead of fundraising constantly. The public will be on a level playing field when it comes to influence with our representitives.Fund the campaigns by charging $1.00 fee on auto registrations and with a tax deductable box on the IRS 1040 form.
