The 5-4 supreme court decision in 2010 to allow for the creation of SuperPACs with no limits on anonymous "free speech" by corporate entities violates the constitution because corporations are not people nor do they represent the best interests of working class families. The Citizens United ruling along with Buckley v. Valeo are clear steps to take this great nation to an oligarchic form of democracy in which absolute control is in the hands of the minority 1% of the population. How is it possible for anyone to run for the highest office in the land now without the aid of corporate sponsors? We shall see in 2016 the outcome of this dreadful decision if nothing is done to correct it. The Koch brothers can now control who gets to be the next POTUS. We will soon lose 100 years of progress...
