take care of combat veterans by making the changes to the GI Bill retroactive; the wars have lasted more 10 years!

Created by D.A. on November 01, 2011

...created for the men and women who have fought for this country. Many combat veterans came home to an inadequate GI Bill, which has changed in the last couple years BUT what about the men and women that fought in 2001-2007, the deadliest years according to Congressional Research Service; who went back to further education before congress changed the bill.

Ultimately, the combat veterans that statistically had more risk, received less benefits. WE are failing them again. Find the money, make it happen...limit it to IN THEATER veterans, give extra incentives to pursue health care professions that will be a future US shortage.

Making the GI BILL retroactive benefits ALL the men and women who gave. Even if we separated we are still making sacrifices with student loan burdens.
