The clock is ticking with respect the the quality of life that we have enjoyed in recent past. I am 40 years old and in the short period of time I have existed on this earth I have witnessed dramatic environmental change that has cascaded down to the local level. We waste our time trivializing over miniscule issues that are always focused on the here and now. We need to broaden our focus to long term solutions for critical issues that most of us are either unaware of, or oblivious to. My only concern is that this issue is not being raised because it is already too late, and we are not being informed of the true fate of our species. We have created an environment hostile to life and we will experience a level of extinction that we may, may not, survive from. Prove me wrong America!!
