Take a close look at the Core Curriculum and the upcoming Park Test to see how it is negatively affecting classrooms.

Created by K.F. on January 13, 2013

As an English teacher in Maryland, the Core Curriculum and the upcoming Park test are becoming the destruction of the American classroom. The standards are not consistent from state to state or county to county and countless teachers of excellence are being ask to teach substandard curriculum using outcomes that are poor and unfair indicators of student performance. As a teacher since 1971, this new educational reform is the most detrimental I have seen in all of my career. PLEASE, find a way to bring pressure to bear nationally and locally to save the classroom for our students and teachers.
