Today and for the foreseeable future one of the major energy issues facing the United States is having to effectively compete in a world economy while protecting American Citizens from unfair worldwide pricing. This drives fuel costs up for US citizens unfairly, as other countries do not have the resources we have and are always undersupplied thus they are willing to pay higher prices to buy fuel to supply their needs.
