Take a definitive stance regarding same-sex marriage and its legalization in this country.

Created by M.Z. on March 24, 2014

Recent court decisions have overturned bans on same-sex marriage in the states of Utah, Oklahoma, Virginia, Texas and Michigan. The decisions were made on the basis that these bans violate rights granted to all Americans by the 14th Amendment of the United States Constitution.

These decisions, however, have all been stayed, either as a part of the decision or by requests from the state and are all awaiting rulings from appellate courts regarding whether to uphold the rulings of federal judges, or to continue violating the Federal Constitution.

It is time for the federal government to show support for the decisions these judges are making and to defend our constitutional rights.
