CCI's "educational service", CAS, only works on the behalf of corporate interests, infringing on consumer privacy and censoring the internet; the exact thing that Obama claimed to oppose.
CCI, known as the Copyright Alert System, is supposed to "protect the work of artists, moviemakers and other owners of content", and fails to mention this only works in the favor of the companies which own them.
CAS slows down internet speed and downgrades the internet service tier for all ISPs, effecting all consumers for the sake of internet censorship. Even innocents who cannot be held guilty will be effected by these changes.
The only solution to this problem would be by disbanding and removing CCI, and passing a bill which prohibits governmental censorship of the internet.
