Take down the Rosa Parks statue. It has no place in the White House next to our founding fathers.

Created by E.S. on March 03, 2013

Although Rosa Parks played a part in the Civil Rights movement she doesn't deserve to be immortalized in the White House next to our founding fathers. She stood up for what she thought was right. So do a lot of Americans who have also made differences. They cannot all have statues. I would understand more a statue of Matrin Luther King Jr (not that I think he should have a statue either).

Why not make statues of Capt. Chesley B. "Sully" Sullenberger, or Seal Team 6, or anyone else who did something more extraordinary than Rosa Parks? You wouldn't because although they did great things they did not birth this nation.
