The web site known as RipOffReport.com has become a tool for slander that is costing the U.S. economy billions in lost revenue due to false and misleading posts that have been placed on the site. The vast majority of these so called Rip Off Reports have been placed by disgruntled former business associates, jealous rivals in similar businesses, and angry competitors who make up false allegations and try to put others out of business. I have three of these on my own business, even though NONE of these reports actually state that we "ripped off" any one. When consumers Google my business name, all three of these Rip Off Reports come up first. No one ever bothers to actually read them, they just condemn us as guilty, due to seeing only the header and the words RIP OFF REPORT. Deadly results!
