I feel after extensive research and stories of family members I have read and heard, the drug Ambien, by Sanofi-Aventis manfacture drug company, is a harmful drug that should not be available to the public.
It is well documented that this drug induces a " zombie" like state, and patients have and do commit suicide, show agressiveness, or "out of character behavior" , sleepwalk, sleepdrive. There are many reports of individuals who have sleepwalked outside into coldweather, later found frozen to death in there pajamas. Also, many accounts of individuals who have no history of being suicidal, and then committing suicide. Following are links:
