President Jammeh took power in a coup in 1994 and is the worst dictator in Africa today, guilty of :-
- Drugs and arms trafficking
- Human rights abuses including widespread extra judicial killing and torture.
- Gross abuse of the judicial system for financial and political gain;
- Systematic theft the nations wealth, including alleged tax collection at gun point and theft of private property as well as appropriating government property.
- Alleged human sacrifice.
-Oppression of the Gambian people so that all walk in fear for their lives and those of their loved ones.
- Destruction of Gambia's economy, infrastructure, and institutions.
- Destabilisation of Casamance region of Senegal and Guinea Bissau.
