take executive action to stop climate change

Created by W.W. on June 25, 2013

The United States continues to generate more climate-changing pollutants per person than all but a few other nations in the world. This must stop. Recognizing that serious reform is unlikely to pass Congress, and that the situation is urgent, we ask the administration to do all that can be done by executive order to implement the recent recommendations of the International Energy Agency, including but not limited to: ending subsidies to oil companies; reducing methane emissions; taxing carbon emissions to promote conservation and fund alternative energy production.
