Kim Davis of Kentucky is now incarcerated for refusing to issue marriage licenses to same-sex couples.
But Kentucky clerks Casey Davis (Casey County) and Billie Joe Lowe (Green County) walk free, despite the fact that they also refuse to issue licenses. Davis issues no licenses. Lowe issues licenses to heterosexuals.
Same-sex couples have been rejected in both offices. But willing plaintiffs have not come forward. So the men continue to defy 'the rule of law'.
It's time for the U.S. Department of Justice to enforce the rule of law in Casey County and Green County.
