Take Firearms Away from the Public: Tyranny exists yet owners of firearms have not exercised the 2nd Amendment.

Created by M.P. on March 27, 2013

NRA supporters argue the right to own a firearm cannot be taken away because it is in the Constitution. I cannot argue with that, but the Constitution refers to muskets and bayonnets so I cannot argue to take away muskets and bayonnets from citizens. All other firearms should be made illegal and taken away from the public and if you argue you need firearms to protect yourself from tyranny, I must ask why has no one exercised their 2nd Amendment right, because tyranny has existed in the government for decades. When the budget wasn't settled, sequestration took into effect, etc. NO ONE decided to exercise his 2nd Amendment for such tyrannical acts by the government. And had the public exercised their 2nd Amendment, how are firearms suppose to match up against hell-fire missiles.
