take the following steps to stabilize social security and medicare, and to totally revamp congressional pensions.

I propose that all congressmen be included in the medicare system used by the general population instead of the separate one they have now. Once they are included in ours,you can bet that it will get fixed pretty fast, and funding will never again be a problem.
I also propose that once an elected official leaves office, his salary stops, and his time served goes toward his social security payments when he becomes eligible.
I would exempt only presidents and vice-presidents from these reforms.
